Generic computer based training course

Purpose

Transas ECDIS CBT gives understanding of both the benefits and limitations of ECDIS; understanding of how ECDIS can be used for navigation, route planning and monitoring, display of navigation data, performing updates etc.

This course follow the IMO Model Course 1.27 and is in accordance with the Manila Amendments to STCW. It is certified by Germanischer Lloyd.

3 days Transas ECDIS CBT consist of 17 chapters and tests split by themes:

Completed a ARPA course

The course language is English but it can be held in Danish if all participants in a specific course are Danish.

Additional remarks

Based on IMO Model Course 1.27 with adopted Manila Amendments for STCW. This CBT can be used as a refresher course for your and might be used in combination with a two days training to achieve an STCW conform ECDIS training.

Certificate of the CBT will be issued after successful completion. With this certificate trainee may join a 2- days course to gain a full GL certified IMO Model course 1.27 certificate with the Manila Amendments of STCW.
